Pro Treatment: St. Augustine High School to face Carlsbad High

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - When "Saints" is written on your chest, you've got a target on your back.

St. Augustine High School in North Park is getting the 10News Pro Treatment this week ahead of Friday night's game against Carlsbad.

As a private school and one of the powerhouse football programs in the county, St. Augustine almost always gets the best effort from their opponents, and players have to respond.

Football isn't the only challenge. Rigorous academics at St. Augustine often leave players with several hours of homework -- which they can't start until after they get home from football practice at 7:30 p.m.

"It's a grind," senior linebacker Tysean White told 10News. "Anyone who can make it through football here for four years, that can set you up for life."
