SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Chargers will hold their 25th annual Salute to the Military at Thursday night's preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers at Qualcomm Stadium.
The salute will occur both before the game and at halftime, but the only detail that the team announced ahead of time was that the rock 'n' roll band Madison Rising, led by Navy veteran David Bray, would perform at halftime.
A limited number of tickets, including some individual Club seats, remain available, a team official said.
Fans planning to attend the game are encouraged to arrive early, carpool or use public transportation, including the Trolley, and to allow plenty of time to enter the stadium as long lines are likely due to enhanced screening procedures at the gates.
