Chargers offensive lineman King Dunlap arrested in Nashville

Los Angeles Chargers offensive lineman King Dunlap was arrested in Nashville Thursday night after police responded to a domestic disturbance call.

10News' Scripps sister station in Nashville, WTVF/NewsChannel 5, reported that Dunlap, 31, is charged with violating an order of protection at his girlfriend's home.

An affidavit from Metro Nashville Police confirmed that officers went to a home in the Hermitage area of Nashville after receiving a domestic disturbance call. Dunlap was inside the home when officers arrived and acknowledged receiving a protection order, police said.

Dunlap, who was born in Nashville, has been in the NFL since 2008. He has played the past four seasons with the Chargers.

According to NewsChannel 5, King was also arrested a few years ago in Nashville for driving his car on the sidewalk at Bridgestone Arena.
