SAN DIEGO -- The 65th racing season at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club kicked off Wednesday.
Opening day festivities included the "One and Only Truly Fabulous Hat Contest," which honors the top entries in such categories as Best Racing Theme, Most Glamorous, Most Patriotic and Funniest/Most Outrageous.As for the racing, the track again offers a full-range of options to its fans during its seven-week run ending on Sept. 8.
