It's the year of the favorites in college basketball. For the first time in NCAA men's tournament history, all four No. 1 seeds have reached the Final Four.

Round 1 | Round 2 | Sweet 16 | Elite Eight

Midwest

Davidson didn't back down against No. 1 Kansas in the team's Elite Eight meeting, but in the end the Jayhawks escaped with a 59-57 victory.

With the win, Kansas earned a trip to the Final Four, where it will join fellow top seeds Memphis, North Carolina and UCLA. It will mark the first time all No. 1 seeds have advanced to the national semifinals.

Davidson stuck with the top-seeded Jayhawks throughout Sunday's contest, showing why it previously defeated Gonzaga, Georgetown and Wisconsin. The Wildcats trailed by two at the half, but came out of the intermission strong and re-took the lead. But Kansas fired back and was able to get back in front in the game's final minutes. Davidson couldn't take advantage of a chance to tie the game at the buzzer as Kansas hung on for a 59-57 victory.

Davidson's sharp-shooter Stephen Curry scored a game-high 25 points.

Sunday's Results
No. 1 Kansas 59, No. 10 Davidson 57

South

No. 1 Memphis left little doubt about which team was the best in the South Region, as the Tigers handily defeated No. 2 Texas 85-67 in Sunday's Elite Eight matchup.

With the victory, Memphis, which has lost just one game all season, advanced to the Final Four where the Tigers will take on UCLA in the national semifinal.

Memphis never trailed in the regional final. The Tigers led the Longhorns by 11 at the half and built on their advantage throughout the second period. Memphis' Chris Douglas-Roberts scored a game-high 25 points.

Sunday's Results
No. 1 Memphis 85, No. 2 Texas 67

East

North Carolina lived up to its top-seeding and won the East Region on Saturday night with an 83-73 victory over No. 3 Louisville in the Elite Eight.

The win earned the Tar Heels a spot in next week's Final Four.

UNC got out to an early lead against the Cardinals, holding a 12-point advantage at the half. Louisville fired back in the second period and was able to tie the game midway through the half. But then North Carolina rebounded and pulled away in the final minutes to secure the victory.

Tyler Hansbrough led UNC with a game-high 28 points and 13 rebounds.

Saturday's Results
No. 1 North Carolina 83, No. 3 Louisville 73

West

No. 1 UCLA is headed back to a familiar place -- the Final Four -- after defeating No. 3 Xavier 76-57 in Saturday night's Elite Eight matchup.

The berth into the national semifinal marks the Bruins' third-straight trip -- and record 18th overall -- to the Final Four.

UCLA kept its distance from Xavier in the regional final, taking a nine-point lead into halftime and keeping the advantage throughout the second period.

Kevin Love led the Bruins with 19 points and 10 rebounds. The freshman was named the West Region's Most Outstanding Player.

Saturday's Results
No. 1 UCLA 76, No. 3 Xavier 57
