SAN DIEGO - San Diego State is in the NCAA tournament for a fourth consecutive year, earning the No. 7 seed in the South region and a game against 10th-seeded Oklahoma on Friday in Philadelphia.

The Aztecs (22-10) head into the tournament having lost five of their last nine games, including a 10-point defeat to No. 15 New Mexico in the Mountain West Conference tournament semifinals Friday night.

Coach Steve Fisher says the Aztecs know nothing about the Sooners, other than he's acquaintances with coach Lon Kruger.

Expectations were high for the Aztecs, who won 12 of their first 14 games before going 9-7 in the MWC. In making its fourth consecutive NCAA tournament appearance, San Diego State sets a school record.

The winner of the SDSU-Oklahoma game plays the winner of No. 2 seed Georgetown vs. No. 15 seed Florida Gulf Coast.
