1. Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years old to enter, and a resident of California within the San Diego County limits. Employees and families of KGTV 10, The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. ("The McGraw-Hill Companies"), Internet Broadcasting Systems, Inc.("IBS") and Jerome's Furniture Warehouse, Inc. ("Jerome's Furniture") are not eligible (collectively, the "Sponsors"). Previous winners for "Jerome's 55^th Anniversary Home Makeover" are not eligible to enter.
2. To enter: Only one entry per person allowed between September 8, 2009 and December 10, 2009. Entrants are automatically entered to win any current or subsequent prize drawing from the date which they entered. A total of four(4) grand prizes will be randomly drawn by Jerome’s Furniture over four different run dates between September 8, 2009 and December 10, 2009:
   i. Grand Prize #1 - Entrants must enter at www.10News.com/contests, between 5 am PST on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 through 11 am PST on Tuesday September 15, 2009. One grand prize winning entry will be selected randomly by Jerome’s Furniture on September 15, 2009 from all eligible submissions received.
   ii. Grand Prize #2 – Entrants must enter at www.10News.com/contests, between 11:01 am PST on Tuesday, September 11, 2009 through 11 am PST, Monday, October 5, 2009. One grand prize winning entry will be selected randomly by Jerome’s Furniture on October 5, 2009 from all eligible submissions received.
   iii. Grand Prize #3 Entrants must enter at www.10News.com/contests, between 11:01 am PST on Monday, October 5, 2009 through 11 am PST, Monday, November 2, 2009. One grand prize winning entry will be selected randomly by Jerome’s Furniture on November 2, 2009 from all eligible submissions received.
   iv. Grand Prize #4 Entrants must enter at www.10News.com/contests, between 11:01 am PST on Monday, November 2, 2009 through 11 am PST, Thursday, December 10, 2009. One grand prize winning entry will be selected randomly by Jerome’s Furniture on December 10, 2009 from all eligible submissions received.
   
   Sponsors are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected or incomplete entries nor for technical or Internet access failure. Sponsors are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or Internet access failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed or incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions which may limit the ability to participate in this contest. Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this contest or any part thereof should virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, fairness or proper conduct of this contest, including terminating just one phase or portion of the promotion.
3. Prize: One winner will receive one (1) in-home designer consultation of up to three (3) hours time total, one (1) shopping assistant consultation for up to three (3) hours time total, one (1) floor plan produced with Icovia^® Space Planning Software for one (1) home of between one (1) and five (5) rooms, one (1) post-delivery setup of merchandise of up to three (3) hours time total, valued at $225. The winner will also receive a selection of furniture chosen by the winner from available choices offered by Jerome Furniture for up to five (5) rooms of furniture with a combined maximum retail value of up to $7,000. The total combined maximum retail value of the prize is $7,225.
4. Prize Conditions: Prizes are supplied by Jerome's Furniture. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or substitutable for any other item by winner. No credit or cash value will be given for any unused portion of the prize. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value for any prize or any part thereof, for any reason. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and fees, plus any other incidentals. Winners will be required to sign and return within fifteen days of receipt an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release form prior to receipt of a prize acknowledging that The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. and the Sponsors have the right to publicize his/her name and likeness, the fact that he/she has won the a certain prize and all matters incidental thereto without the payment of any compensation for a period of one (1) year. The winner must also allow before and after photographs and/or video to be taken of the rooms in their house that will be refurnished. The winner or a representative of the winner's family must be available to be on camera during the "reveal" of the refurnished rooms. The winner will be required to waive any and all claims against the Sponsors for any loss which may occur from participation in the contest or from the receipt or use of the prize. Non-compliance will result in disqualification and forfeit of prize.
5. How to Win: Winner will be contacted via email or phone. Winner must provide Jerome's Furniture with appropriate identification (Driver's License or picture ID) to take delivery of the furniture. Jerome's Furniture will create a design plan and deliver the furniture no later than two (2) weeks from the winner's design consultation appointment. The winner's new furniture will be delivered to their home within that two week period depending upon delivery schedule availability. Television production at the winner's house will take place immediately after the new furnishings being delivered. The winner must be able to meet this schedule of design, delivery and television production to qualify.
6. Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend upon the number of people entering.
7. Winner's List: For a winner's list, send a self addressed, stamped envelope, after December 10, 2009 to "Winners List" Jerome's 55^th Anniversary Home Makeover 4600 Air Way, San Diego, CA 92102.
8. Contest Conditions: The contestants and winners release the Sponsors, their respective affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and all others associated with the development and execution of this contest, including their respective employees, agents and representatives from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from the contest and the awarding and use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury and/or property damage nor for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.
9. Disqualification: In the event that a winner fails to set up a design consultation appointment within 2 days of being informed or fails to meet the eligibility requirements of the contest, the unawarded prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected at random from remaining entries
10. Miscellaneous: All entries become the sole property of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. and none will be returned. Winner will be required to give The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. his/her social security number, legal name, age, current address, and phone number for tax record keeping purposes only.
11. Privacy: KGTV 10 on occasion shares information collected about contestants included on the entry forms with other units within the family of The McGraw-Hill Companies whose products or service we feel may be of interest to you.
