Could the bribery case involving disgraced Congressman Randy "Duke" Cunningham also involve prostitutes and limousines?

The FBI is apparently checking that possiblity.

According to the Wall Street Journal, federal prosecutors want to know whether defense contractor Brent Wilkes of Poway was involved in a prostitution scheme. And agents are asking if any other members of Congress, or their staffs, may have used the services.

An employee with the Watergate Hotel told The Journal that FBI agents were given records relating to the investigation and rooms in the hotel.

Cunningham was sentenced to eight years in prison after admitting he accepted more than $2 million in bribes.

Wilkes' attorney did not return 10News' calls for comment.
