Peverley began the shootout with a successful wrister then Andy McDonald of the Blues failed in his chance. Kozlov added another score before Brad Boyes' had the puck poke- checked away by Johan Hedberg. Tobias Enstrom and Ron Hainsey tallied in regulation for the Thrashers, who snapped a two-game slide. Hedberg made 30 saves. McDonald and David Perron scored for the Blues, who have dropped a season-high five straight games. Ty Conklin took the loss despite stopping 38 shots.
