LAKE WOHLFORD, Calif. -- A 68-year-old pilot walked away unscathed Monday after his small, single-engine experimental biplane crashed upside down in North County, authorities said.San Diego resident George Adalian had just landed his Arco Sport biplane at the Lake Wohlford Resort Airport shortly after 8 a.m. when the brakes locked on the aircraft, causing it to overturn toward the end of the runway, said San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. Bob Bishop.Adalian was able to extricate himself from the aircraft prior to the arrival of fire and rescue personnel, Bishop said. Deputies and Valley Center firefighters righted the plane over and moved it off the runway.
