Wind Advisory In Effect In San Diego County

SAN DIEGO -- A wind advisory is in effect Wednesday for the deserts of San Diego County, where gusts of up to 45 miles per hour are expected, according to weather forecasters.The National Weather Service said the advisory would remain in effect until 5 p.m. Weaker wind gusts were expected along the coast and in the mountains.Gusts up to 25 mph are likely Wednesday in coastal and mountain areas, according to the Weather Service.
Wednesday night, wind gusts up to 30 mph are expected along the coast and gusts up to 25 mph are expected in the valleys and deserts.Temperatures Wednesday are expected to be slightly warmer than Tuesday, with highs of 67 to 72 degrees along the coast, 68 to 73 in the western valleys, 61 to 66 near the foothills, 48 to 58 in the mountains and 63 to 68 in the deserts. Temperatures will climb by a few degrees Thursday and a few more Friday, when some areas of San Diego County will be close to 10 degrees warmer than Wednesday.
