Border Patrol Chase Ends In Crash

A motorist being chased by U.S. Border Patrol agents crashed his vehicle into a parked car in the North County on Tuesday, authorities said.

The crash happened in the 600 block of Grant Street in Oceanside about 5 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

No injuries were reported, an Oceanside Fire Department dispatcher said.

No other details were immediately available, including what prompted the chase or whether the motorist was taken into custody.
