According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner, Zahau, 32, hanged herself on July 13 a couple of hours after learning that her boyfriend's 6-year-old son, injured in a July 11 fall while in her care, was brain dead and would not live.Zahau, found nude with her hands and feet bound, was cut down by the brother of Jonah Shacknai, founder and chief executive of Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp.Though the Medical Examiner ruled the death a suicide, some members of Zahau's family questioned the finding.A second autopsy was done by renowned pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht, and one of Zahau's sisters has been cooperating with TV psychologist Phil McGraw to explain what may have happened.Max Shacknai, who was injured in a fall from a second-floor landing, died a few days after Zahau.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
