Holiday office parties can be fun, but most employees would rather have some cash.

An annual survey showed that 73 percent of employees would rather ditch the holiday party and get a bonus instead.

The survey found only 5 percent want to socialize with their colleagues.

But, employees might still want to get their best party outfits ready anyway.

More than 80 percent of companies are planning a holiday party this year, up from last year's 68 percent.
