A woman killed in a motorcycle accident on state Route 78 east of Julian was identified Sunday as a 39-year-old Irvine resident.

Julie Faith Fortier was riding west on the back of a motorcycle driven by husband about noon Saturday when they sideswiped another motorcycle going east on Highway 78 and crashed, according to the California Highway Patrol and the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.The crash happened on a curve along the Banner Grade, with the motorcycle Fortier was on apparently crossing onto the wrong side of the road.Three other motorcycle riders were injured in separate accidents in the East County Saturday, the U-T San Diego reported.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
