SAN DIEGO -
A 35-year-old woman died from injuries suffered as a backseat passenger in a BMW that struck several parked cars in Mission Beach, the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office said Sunday.
Shiden Golshani Jabdan of San Diego was found unresponsive and taken to UCSD Medical Center following the crash, which occurred just before 3 a.m. Saturday, according to the Medical Examiner's Office. Her condition declined and she was declared dead about 12 hours later, authorities said.
Few details are available on the crash, which happened on West Mission Bay Drive near the Bahia Hotel.
The 35-year-old woman at the wheel and a 19-year-old woman who was riding in front were also hospitalized after the crash, according to San Diego police.
