LA MESA, Calif. - A woman was arrested early Monday morning after she crashed her car into a bar, according to police.
The woman drove her Toyota Camry into Effins Pub and Grill on El Cajon Boulevard near 62nd street just after 2:30 a.m., police said.
The car was badly damaged and a hole was left in the side of the building.
According to police, the woman tried to run from the scene but bartenders caught her and held her until police arrived.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
