VISTA, Calif. - A woman who police say targeted the elderly when she burglarized homes in several Oceanside neighborhoods pleaded guilty Friday to 11 felony charges.
Toya Dahl Calderon, 30, admitted to seven counts of residential burglary, and four counts of second-degree burglary involving commercial establishments, Deputy District Attorney Chantelle Konstanzer told City News Service.
According to Oceanside police, Calderon was arrested on July 17 and had stolen jewelry in her car. More stolen items were found in her Vista home, police said.
The prosecutor said the woman faces as much as nine years, four months in state prison when sentenced by Judge K. Michael Kirkman on Feb 4.
