Winning Powerball ticket purchased in San Diego

Someone who bought a Powerball ticket in San Diego matched five of six numbers last night to win $439,691, according to lottery officials

The winning ticket was sold at the Vons Grocery store at 10016 Scripps Ranch in San Diego County. That ticket matched the numbers 9-32-5-7-23. The lone missing Powerball number was 26.

The Powerball winner should visit any of the nine Lottery District Offices to reap their reward. The winner has 180 days from when the drawing took place to claim their prize.

Powerball is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings are held Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:59 p.m. PST. Tickets are $2 and can be purchased from any of the 22,000 California Lottery retailers or one of the more than 4,000 Lottery Lucky Retailers.
