SAN DIEGO - A Mega Millions lottery ticket worth nearly $171,000 that was bought last month at an eatery at Naval Base San Diego has not yet been turned in, the California Lottery announced Monday.

The ticket purchased for the Sept. 14 drawing at the Escape Snack Bar matched five of the six winning numbers -- 40, 21, 51, 16 and 17 -- and missed only the Mega number of 20.

Winners have six months to claim their prize.

If the holder of the ticket is deployed, he or she can mail it to a lottery office and include copies of their identification, or have a friend take it to an office, lottery spokesman Alex Traverso told City News Service.
