Wind advisory for San Diego County valleys, mountains canceled
Last Updated: 53 days ago
SAN DIEGO - A combination of upper-level low pressure moving through the Southern Rockies and surface high pressure over the Great Basin prompted the National Weather Service Wednesday to issue a morning wind advisory for the San Diego area.
The alert, cautioning of potentially hazardous gusts up to 45 mph out of the northeast in the county's inland valleys and mountains, was canceled at noon due to a return of milder conditions, the NWS advised.
No wind-related problems were reported.
