Where to surf in San Diego

SAN DIEGO - Here are five places worth checking out if you're a surfer.

Black's Beach: This La Jolla beach has been described as one of the "best surfs" in San Diego with a consistent swell and clear water.

Trestles: Located at the San Onofre State beach, Trestles attracts surfers from both San Diego and Orange counties. The water attracts some of the world's best surfers.

Swami's: The beach is often crowded but the surf makes it worth it. It often produces good swells during San Diego's winter months.

Sunset Cliffs: It's a beach that caters to locals and all levels of surfers. Be sure to stop by South Beach Bar and Grille after catching the waves for the "World's Best Fish Taco" too.

Imperial Beach: The pier is a great area for summer surfing. It can be crowded with locals but worth the drive south.
