What's Open, Closed On Labor Day?

Most government employees, except for public safety personnel, will have Labor Day off, and local, state and federal offices will be closed Monday.

Trash pickup will be pushed back one day this week. The city of San Diego's Miramar Landfill will be open during normal hours, but the recycling office will be closed.

City of San Diego golf courses, municipal pools, Chollas Lake and the Mission Trails Regional Park Visitors Center will be open.

Libraries and recreation centers will be closed.

Parking meters will not be enforced.

County of San Diego parks and preserves will be open. However, libraries, the Spring Valley gymnasium, community centers in Fallbrook, Lakeside and Spring Valley, and the Lakeside and Spring Valley teen centers will be closed.

Metropolitan Transit System and North County Transit District buses, trains and trolleys will run on a Sunday schedule. MTS express and rural routes will not operate, except for Express Route 20, which will run on a Sunday schedule.
