Critics compare business to prostitution

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Sometimes you just need a hug, and a New York woman is giving them out, for a price.
Jackie Samuels calls herself a “professional snuggler.”
It has been scientifically proven that the human touch releases oxytocin, or happiness chemicals, into our brain.
And for $60 you can get an hour of cuddling with Samuels, WMAR reported.
For $300 she will stay the night, but there is to be no kissing and the clothes stay on. She also
says there’s no touching where undergarments cover.
Critics have compared her business to prostitution, but Samuels says no one is being degraded and no one is unsafe. She also says they’re not breaking any laws.
