Two hundred teachers in Utah will go through weapons training.

The Utah Shooting Sports Council said they usually get around a dozen teachers a year for training to carry concealed weapons. This year, demand has skyrocketed.

The high demand comes after the state's leading gun lobby decided to offer the teachers training for free, in response to the Sandy Hook tragedy.

Utah is among the few states allows people to carry licensed concealed weapons into public schools without exception.
