According to a new study, the type of beer that you drink can say a lot about your politics.

The study by the National Journal says Sam Adams beer drinkers are more likely to be Republicans. Heineken fans tend to be Democrats. Bud Light, Miller High Life and Dos Equis drinks are likely nonpartisan.

Coors Light and Miller Lite seem to have more conservative fans while Corona and Budweiser skew towards the left.

The study also found what type of beer drinker is more likely to show up during election day. Amstel Light drinkers who tend to be Republican are more likely to show up, while Corona drinkers, who tend to be liberal, are least likely to show up.
