A Florida county sheriff is posting signs outside the homes of sex offenders to alert the neighborhood.
Gordon Smith, the sheriff of Bradford County, posts large, red road signs outside the homes of convicted rapists and child molesters.
Smith says the signs are meant to keep children away from the homes as well as notify parents about dangerous predators.
So far, Smith's department has put up 18 signs for $10 each.
Some think the signs go too far and could result to harassment of the residents. Also, the Sheriff's department already sends out Facebook notifications and sends officers to neighborhoods when an offender moves in.
Do you think this is something Sheriff Bill Gore should do here in San Diego?
