Movie theater workers avoid concession stand food

The next time you head to the movies, you may want to think twice before stopping at the concession stand.

A list put together by Good Morning America and Reader's Digest revealed that movie theater employees stay away from the pretzels, hot dogs and nachos because they know the food items could be days-old.

The report also noted that the cheese used on nachos may have been sitting out for days before it's melted and poured over the chips.

Popcorn is also doused in coconut oil and chemicals to give it that irresistible smell.

According to the report, employees will only eat boxed candies and beverages.
