An Illinois man is accused of doing his Christmas shopping in other people's homes.

Gregory G. Cook of Cicero, Ill., stole Christmas gifts when he burglarized two homes, and police found several of those gifts rewrapped in Cook's home when they arrested him, police told the Chicago Tribune.

Police told the paper they also found a stolen ceiling fan installed in Cook's bedroom.

Not all of the stolen gifts were worthy of regifting, though. Police said video surveillance showed Cook returning some of the stolen merchandise at stores and purchasing other items with stolen credit cards, according to the Sun-Times Media Wire.

Cook was charged with two counts of burglary. He has eight prior burglary convictions, according to the Chicago Tribune and the Sun-Times Media Wire.
