Parents in Flagler County, Fla. took an unusual approach to discipline their daughter.
16-year-old Jasmine was forced to hold up a big sign at a busy street. Her sign read, "I sneak boys in at 3 a.m. and disrespect my parents and grandparents."
Jasmine's parents said the punishment was a last resort after a year of bad behavior.
Jasmine's father told Florida's WESH 2 News that it was all about love and that he even took a day off of work to implement the punishment.
"I love this kid," he said.
Motorists driving by had mixed reactions to the parents' approach. While some approved, others told the parents they were worried about the consequences of the lesson.
