A Canadian dad is receiving criticism over a blog post he wrote admitting that he favored one son over the other.

Radio show host Buzz Bishop said on the parenting website Babble, he wasn't afraid to admit that he has favorite son.

He points out, though, that he doesn't give his favorite son preferential treatment. Bishop writes that he just likes his sons "differently."

Many praised Bishop for his honesty. But others are angrily coming into the defense of the other child.

Some parents say that while it's usually true to have a favorite, it should never be admitted publicly.
