STOCKTON, Calif. - Two armed robbers were stranded at the fast food restaurant they had just robbed, after an employee slipped out the back door and made off with their getaway car.
Police said the two suspects ran into a Burger King in Stockton, pulled out their guns and demanded cash, according to ABC News.
While they were robbing the cashier, another employee snuck out of the back and noticed the getaway car running. He hopped in and hid the car.
The suspects, later identified as Gabriel Gonzalez and Jeremy Lovitt, fled the scene on foot and were later arrested at a nearby field.
