SAN DIEGO - Crews are working to repair a water main break in North Park.
The main break was reported in the 4400 block of Oregon Street at about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to San Diego Public Utilities Department spokesman Arian Collins.
A 16-inch diameter cast iron water main broke, possibly due to corrosion.
The water was shut off at 6:45 p.m. The 4300 through 4500 blocks of Oregon Street are currently without water service. A water wagon is on site to provide customers with water.
Crews expect to finish repairs and restore water service by 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
