SAN DIEGO - Crews repaired an early-morning water main break in Casa de Oro Tuesday, that left at least three homes and possibly two garages flooded.
The break was reported at 2:21 a.m. in the 3800 block of Rogers Road.
The Helix Water District responded to the break. AT&T workers were also needed at the scene to mark underground utilities before the water crew could get to work.
10News learned that the broken pipe was a 6-inch, cast-iron pipe that was installed in 1952.
Water was shut down for 19 homes in the area.
