MIRA MESA (KGTV) -- 10News reporter Jennifer Delacruz captured dramatic video of a flash flood in Mira Mesa that left two cars submerged and their occupants trapped inside.
Jennifer arrived at the scene moments after crews helped pull out the motorists from their cars, but she spoke with them about their ordeal.
One of the drivers told Jennifer he underestimated the depth of the flood.
The swift water rescue happened near Carroll Canyon Road and Pacific Heights Boulevard at around 3 p.m.
The three people were safely rescued and there were no reported injuries.
