The car smashed into the front of Surati Farsan Mart on Black Mountain Road at about 2 p.m. Friday.

One angle of the surveillance video shows the car hitting someone who was walking out of the restaurant and sending them flying back inside several feet. Seconds later, the person who was hit got up and walked away with only minor injuries.

Amir Eslami was nearby when the crash occurred. He told 10News, "I heard the noise of the tire ... immediately broken glass and a scream of the ladies."

Two others also suffered minor injuries but most were stunned by the explosive sounds and the shattered glass everywhere.

Police said the driver was not hurt but very shaken after she accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes.

Fortunately, the driver veered to the right and customers happened to be on the left side of the restaurant as the car came within inches of hitting them.

Again, police told 10News the person who was hit by the car is going to be OK. It is unclear if the driver will face any charges.
