Vehicle plunges down embankment while on 6th avenue onramp to SR-163

A driver lost control of his car and rolled off an onramp to the north state Route 163, falling almost 50 feet down an embankment early Monday.
The crash occurred at 1 a.m. on the 6th Avenue onramp to northbound SR-163.
Emergency crews told 10News that they had a difficult time getting down the embankment and getting the driver out.
California Highway Patrol officers said the driver lost control of his car and he rolled over several times.
It took firefighters about 10 minutes to cut him out of the vehicle.
