1 person injured after vehicle crashes into Ramona home

RAMONA, Calif. - One person was injured Tuesday afternoon after a vehicle crashed into a Ramona-area home.
According to authorities, the incident happened shortly before 2 p.m. in the 1300 block of Ashley Road.
Authorities said a silver SUV somehow veered off the road and crashed into the home. One person was extricated from the vehicle and airlifted to the hospital.
The person's condition is unknown, and no other injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
