USGS: 3.6-magnitude earthquake rattles San Diego County; epicenter near town of Rainbow

The U.S. Geological Survey reports that a 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Rainbow, Calif., about nine miles north of Fallbrook. 

According to the agency, the quake struck at 6:29 a.m.

There are no reports of any damage or injuries at this time.
