El CAJON, Calif. - Police in El Cajon said they are searching for an armed gunman who not only targeted a business overnight, but also the employee who works inside.
According to investigators, the incident occurred at the USA Gas station located at the corner of Avocado and Washington avenues just before midnight on Wednesday.
Officers said a man entered the store armed with a gun, robbed the clerk of the cash from the register and also took his wallet as well.
Police described the culprit as a black man in his 40s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a muscular build. He was last seen wearing a brown beanie and mask, a brown and blue jacket and blue jeans.
The clerk told officers that the thief left on Avocado Avenue.
