SAN DIEGO -
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor spoke at the University of San Diego on Sunday.
She talked about her life in the Bronx and the path she traveled to become a Supreme Court justice. Sotomayor also signed copies of her new book, which is entitled, "My Beloved World."
Lilia Velasquez, who attended the book signing, told 10News, "I'm inspired. I have been following Sotomayor since she was appointed to the bench. I've heard her speak before in interviews, I'm reading her book. To me, it puts a human face on the Supreme Court justice."
Sotomayor was appointed to the court in 2009 by President Obama.
