Campo, Calif. - Sheriff's homicide detectives announced Saturday that they have arrested Patrick Pablo in connection with the death of 23-year-old Teddy Pablo on the Campo Indian Reservation.
Investigators say Patrick Pablo is the victim's uncle and lives at the home in the 36600 block of Highway 94 where the death occurred. Teddy Pablo, a resident of the reservation, was treated by paramedics but died at about 6:40 p.m. Friday.
"When deputies arrived paramedics were performing CPR on a man outside a residence," said Sheriff's Homicide Detail Lt. Glenn Giannantonio. "The victim had traumatic injuries. Lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful and the victim was pronounced dead."
They say a motive for the killing is not known at this time. Investigators say Patrick Pablo will be booked into the San Diego Central Jail on one count of murder.
The Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the cause of Teddy Pablo's death.
