UK cities implement 20mph speed limits even on major streets

A growing number of small British communities are implementing speed limits of 20 mph for many of it's streets, even major ones.
The lower speed limits were put in due to safety concerns and the hope is that it will encourage more people ride bicycles or walk.
Some of the biggest cities in London, Oxford and Liverpool are also implementing 20 mph speed limit for residential neighborhoods.
