SAN DIEGO - Baylor dominated UCLA in Thursday night's Holiday Bowl at Qualcomm Stadium.
Baylor quarterback Nick Florence threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score as the Bears routed the UCLA Bruins 49-25 in the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl at Qualcomm Stadium.
UCLA fans outnumbered Baylor fans in the stands, but the Bears had the edge on the scoreboard, thanks to five first-half touchdowns that helped them build an insurmountable 35-10 lead.
Both teams were making their first-ever Holiday Bowl appearances.
Baylor finished the college football season with an 8-5 record, while UCLA dropped to 9-5 with the loss.
