SAN DIEGO - The winning numbers in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing are, 2, 34, 11, 41, 26 with the Powerball number 32.
The jackpot is $360 million.
According to lottery officials, the current jackpot is the third largest Powerball jackpot and seventh biggest jackpot in history.
Lottery officials say the "cross-selling" of Powerball and Mega Millions tickets, as well as a game redesign in 2012, boosted jackpots and increased the odds of winning some kind of prize.
The last major win came when a New Jersey man won a $338.3 million jackpot on March 23. It is considered the fourth largest Powerball jackpot in history.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number are 1 in 175,223,510, according to the Powerball website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 31.85.
The Powerball game is played in 43 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
California joined the Powerball game last month.
Last week’s numbers were 6, 13, 19, 23, 43 and 16.
