Poll suggests most parents think 21-years-old should be the legal age for marijuana use

A new online survey conducted by the non-profit organization Partnerships at Drug-Free America suggests that a majority of parents think the legal age for marijuana should be 21.

The online survey by the group polled 1,200 parents with kids ages 10 to 19 years old.  Within that group, the poll found that 35  percent of them favored recreational use of marijuana, 46 percent said it should be decriminalized and 70 percent said it should be legal for medical purposes, according to USA Today.

Marijuana is currently legal for medical use in 18 states and in Washington, D.C.
