Google celebrates 15th birthday

It's Google's 15th birthday and the company is celebrating in multiple ways.

For those procrastinating while at work, go to and check out Friday's Google Doodle.

There's birthday cake and a piñata you can "hit" using the space bar. No real candy though.

For more Google fun, type in "Google in 1998" and users can see the search engine the way it looked back in 1998.

Google also launched its new search algorithm called Hummingbird, which is supposed to give users better and more relevant results when tougher questions are asked.

The company also expanded its Knowledge Graph feature, which allows users to compare results if they are searching for two things.

Finally, Google plans to update its search apps to make the mobile user experience more seamless.
