Three Imperial Beach pier jumpers rescued

SAN DIEGO - Three people were pulled out of the water after getting stranded when they jumped off the pier at Imperial Beach overnight Tuesday.

According to the Imperial Beach Fire Department, two men and two women jumped into the water sometime before midnight. One man was able to swim to shore, but the other three were found clinging to the pier’s pilings and crying for help.
