SAN DIEGO - A major injury crash caused a big backup on the 805 North by Balboa Avenue Wednesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol reported a crash between a van and a Chevy Blazer at 5:04 a.m. The cars blocked part of the slow lane and the on-ramp. CHP dispatch said a SigAlert was issued, as debris in lanes also created a problem.
At 5:55 a.m., speeds approaching Balboa Avenue dropped below 10 miles per hour.
