A tractor trailer smashed into a fire hydrant at the corner of Miramar and Kearny Mesa Roads early Friday.

Gallons of water spewed from the fire hydrant and into some lanes.The right-hand lane on eastbound Miramar Road is blocked off. A part of Kearny Mesa Road is also shut down.Fire crews are at the scene.As of 7:28 a.m., water from the hydrant was shut down, but traffic is still slow on eastbound Miramar Rd.10News will update this story as more information becomes available.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
